I'm a single person who is disabled and I need help paying my rent. Social Security stopped my benefits for an over payment that took place that was unkown to me in Oct. 2000. My benefits were stopped in May 2007. Right now, I have an lawyer on the case and we are applying for a new claim. Meanwhile my rent is $849.00 a month and I want to avoid an eviction and becoming homeless.
